AGES 3-5 No experience needed. Must be potty trained. |

Cheerleader Evaluation
All cheerleaders that attend evaluations will be placed on a team based upon skill level and age. Parents may not stay after sign-in. Age is determined as of Aug 31, 2019. Attend one session. Cheerleaders new to UMAS must send a headshot to umas@umdgc.com prior to attending.

Stunting Callbacks For Elite Teams
A limited number of cheerleaders ages 6-11 may be chosen to attend Elite Team Stunting Callbacks based upon the needs of the teams and the strengths of the cheerleaders trying out. The selected cheerleaders will be emailed on Sunday night, May 19. See additional info under “Elite” evaluations.
Mandatory Meeting
Orientation, uniform sizing, and meet & greet with your coaches will take place at 6:30p on Thursday, May 30. June tuition and UMAS fee will be due by June 1 to reserve your space on the team.
Summer Classes & Placements
Optional classes will be held during the summer for Prep and Novice teams. Classes will be split by age and the schedule will be released on May 24. Team placements will be emailed by August 10 and practices will run September to March.

Crossovers: We WANT you!! We cannot wait to see our amazing athletes perform on TWO teams. We will only be accepting a limited number of crossovers per season. Additional low crossover fee required; check the UMAS Team Handbook for details.

Alternates: Perfect for those with limited finances, commitments that restrict attendance, or that need a year to develop their skills. Practice with your team and fill-in at competitions without tuition or competition fees. See UMAS Team Handbook for details.
Evaluation Registration
Once payment is processed by the UMDGC front desk, an evaluation form will be sent to you via a third-party email - Echosign/Adobe Sign. This form must be completed electronically prior to attending evaluations. Limited number of private evaluations available for a $25 surcharge to the fees listed above by emailing a_daulerio@umdgc.com.

Stunting Callbacks
Callback times will be emailed out Sunday night, May 19. Each cheerleader will be invited to one or multiple stunting callbacks. Callback timeslots are 5:30-7:00p and 7:30-9:00p on Monday, May 20, through Thursday, May 23.
Team Placements
All cheerleaders that attend evaluations will be placed on a team based upon skill level and age. Placements will be sent out on Friday, May 24.
Mandatory Meetings
Orientation, uniform sizing, and meet & greet with your coaches will take place at 6:30p on Tuesday, May 28, and Wednesday, May 29. Attend one of these two meetings. June tuition and UMAS fee will be due by June 1 to reserve your space on the team.
Practices
Practices begin on Monday, June 3, and Tuesday, June 4. The practice schedule for the summer and school year will be released with team placements. School year practices run September to April.
